Support Small Businesses, Cheer on the City!

The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon launches the "Support Small Businesses, Cheer on the City" campaign once again. The campaign aims to empower small businesses to ride on the city’s largest participatory sporting event to drive footfall while cheering for runners.

This year’s campaign focuses on the F&B sector and expands its coverage beyond the race routes, rallying over 700 small- and medium-sized eateries across the city to take part in the Hong Kong Marathon in different ways. By connecting the businesses with customers and runners, the campaign seeks to boost the carnival atmosphere of the mega event and inject more positive energy into the community.

Runners and citizens are invited to visit the participating shops, and join them to immerse in the marathon spirit. Together, We Run Further!

Starting from today, 10 shops will transform their shopfronts to feature a marathon theme, making them perfect cheering stations to back all runners. They will delight runners with a range of curated offers, such as marathon-themed food and beverages*, or even dining discounts.

Over 700 small businesses across various districts in Hong Kong have joined the campaign to show their support to runners by displaying posters and stickers. Among them, more than 100 shops will provide special perks for runners*.
