Be Priceless is the first health education non-profit to be tailored to improving the comprehensive mental, physical, and social health of the diverse vulnerable children and families in HK. We are a non-profit with the vision for every child to enjoy their full potential to flourish. We prioritize empowering vulnerable children and caregivers, from neurodiverse, ethnically diverse, and low-income families through:

Health behavioral education that trains them on behaviors to build their foundation of health,
Community partnerships to drive child-centered community health, and
Participatory research where these partners drive systems change for children’s health. Our Health Behavioral Education is called SEED (Self-value, Empower, Educate, and protect from Dangers). We train children (4-17 years), caregivers, and educators in the attitudes, behaviors, and capacities (ABCs) for health. SEED strengthen their foundation of health in 4 areas: 1. Socio-emotional growth: self-value, growth mindset, resilience, good decision making 2. Well-being: care for our mind and body, emotional regulation, healthcare, and support 3. Safety: prevent, prepare, respond, and recover from mental disorders, violence; seeking help 4. Healthy relationships: interpersonal science, compassionate communications, equity Personal Safety is enhanced by learning to Prevent, Prepare for, Respond to and Recover from:
- Mental disorders & physical disorders (including digital addictions, and mental health crisis)
- Violence, exploitations (online, at school, or at home)
- Community inequity, discrimination, isolation, misinformation
- Environmental disasters and outbreaks Strong and sustained impact: Of the over 5,500 SEED participants since 2021, over half are course graduates - 80% of children and 60% of caregivers have improved health-related quality of life, emotional regulation, resilience, well-being, ability to reject and report dangers, family relationships and community belonging. Over 70% of children have better school attention. The impact lasts for 12-months. So far, 60+ schools and NGOs have been supported.
