Marathon Clinic: Program Highlights
Below are photos taken today at the introduction of the Marathon Clinic, a special course that helps aspiring runners perform their best at the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2009. Spaces for the Marathon Clinic are already full due to popular demand, but the organizers have announced that more training-related events are planned for the upcoming months. For details, please visit the Marathon official website: www.hkmarathon.com.

Dr Simon Yeung, Associate Professor, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, shares his thoughts on the importance of pre-Marathon training and skills development, which will help runners get the most out of their Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon experience.

Top Hong Kong distance runner Leong Yuen Fan takes the running gait assessment. Leong is part of the Hong Kong team that will take part in the 2008/09 “Standard Chartered Marathon – The Greatest Race on Earth” (GROE), a marathon team relay series. She will finish the series in Hong Kong on February 8, 2009.
