Some of the world's top athletes gathered at the Victoria Park today for the Meet-the-Athlete Press Conference of 2008 Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon. Mr Benjamin Hung, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Mr Alex Moh, President of Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association, Mr William Ko, Chairman of Organizing Committee of Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2008 and Mr Simon Yeung, Chairman of Organizing Committee of the 11th Asian Marathon Championships attended the press event and welcomed the runners.

Runners of the Greatest Race on Earth and the guests unveiled the "The GROE Golden Scroll" today to express their support to the "Race for the Living Planet".
