[Hong Kong, 17 April 2007]: With the generous support of the public, the Standard Chartered Marathon Charity Programme has raised over HK$1.7 million from this year's Marathon.

The funds will be used to support the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKPC&SAPD) and Standard Chartered's "Seeing is Believing" charity campaign. In appreciation of the enthusiastic donor support, Standard Chartered conducted a special cheque presentation for the charity beneficiaries today.
