Some say there is always a touching and interesting story behind every dedicated runner, and we believe that many of these great stories combine together to form a bigger story named the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, the hottest event in distance running!
While your sweat tells of the great effort you make in completing a race, your words and photos reveal your memorable experience finishing a marathon. Is there a reason that pulls you into the game? Is there a force that pushes you to the finishing line or is there a motivation behind your "never give up" motto that keeps you going during the race? If you like to tell us, we are more than eager to listen. A new corner - Runners' Profile - is now open for sharing your anecdotes and memories of your participation in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon with all the other runners who competed.
So, in between your training sessions, just put aside your sports trainers for a moment and take a break to write us a couples of lines telling us a piece of your interesting experience whilst running the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon. Send us your contributions in either Chinese, English or a bilingual version in about 500 words (in Word file) with possibly a nice photo attached (in JPEG file) with your name and contact number by email to "hkmarathon@hkaaa.com". Join the race, feel the energy! Let's share your tales as well as your positive energy now!
*If your story is published, you will be awarded with a limited edition of the "Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2010 Souvenir". You will be notified via email from the Organizer (Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association). Please bring along the notification letter and HKID/Passport to collect the prize. The "Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2010 Limited Edition Souvenir" can be collected at the Secretariat Counter at the Marathon Expo on Feb 20 and 21, 2010 at Victoria Park.
