Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon - Corporate Challenge 2010
28 February 2010, Sunday

Every year Standard Chartered Bank invites corporations and institutions to race against each other in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon - "Corporate Challenge".

HOW DOES IT WORK

A "race within a race" - your organisation is invited to form one or more corporate teams to enter the Full Marathon (42km), the Half Marathon (21km), or/and the 10km race.

Each team will consist of 4 runners, contributing a minimum payment of HK$5,400, which includes HK$1,080 Race Entry Fee [HK$270 per person x 4] and HK$400 Timing Chip Fee [HK$100 per person x 4], with the remaining balance of HK$3,920 donating to charity.

Runners will be timed by the official timing system in the official race. The top 3 times per a team of four will be used to calculate the winning times.

RUN FOR CHARITY

All funds raised through the Corporate Challenge will be donated to the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKPC&SAPD). In 2009, Standard Chartered’s corporate clients raised HK$ 1,410,000 for the HKPC&SAPD. 196 team entries were recorded last year.

A separate awards ceremony will be hosted by Standard Chartered Bank after the Marathon to which all Corporate Challenge participants will be invited.

The following awards will be presented:

  • Full Marathon winners
  • Half Marathon winners
  • 10km winners
  • Highest Team Participant (by company)
