Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon - Corporate Challenge 2012

Every year Standard Chartered Bank invites corporations and institutions to participate in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon - Corporate Challenge 2012.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Your organisation is welcomed to form one or more corporate teams to enter the Full Marathon (42km), the Half Marathon (21km), or/and the 10km race.

Each team will consist of 4 runners, contributing a minimum payment of HK$5,400, which includes HK$1,200 Race Entry Fee [HK$300 per person x 4] and the remaining balance of HK$4,200 donating to Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKPC&SAPD). 

Runners will be timed by the official timing system in the official race. The top 3 official times per a team of four will be used to calculate the winning times.

RUN FOR CHARITY

All funds raised through the Corporate Challenge 2012 will be donated to the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKPC&SAPD). In 2011, Standard Chartered’s corporate clients raised HK$1,800,000 for the HKPC&SAPD. 291 team entries were recorded last year.

A separate awards ceremony will be hosted by Standard Chartered Bank in April and all Corporate Challenge 2012 participants will be invited.

APPLICATION

Entry into the Corporate Challenge 2012 will automatically represent entry into the individual competition. Corporate teams should not submit duplicated individual applications. Please refer to Corporate Challenge Factsheet 2012 for the entry details, and send back the completed Corporate Challenge Entry Form 2012 and Corporate Challenge Coordinators & Donation Form 2012  for application.  

Deadline for entry is 31 October 2011. As places are limited, entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The Organiser reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without notice. We therefore encourage you to submit your entry as early as possible.

Note: For successful applicants, we strongly recommend your runners to collect their runner packs from the Collection Counter at the Marathon Expo on 28 and/or 29 Jan 2012 in Victoria Park.
