Advanced Notice for Public Ballot Entry (Team) Registration

-        Registration Period and Entry Fee

Public Ballot Entry (Team) is open for registration from 10:00 (GMT+8), 16 August 2017 to 19:00 (GMT+8), 6 September 2017. Teams may only apply for 10KM Run 4.

 The Entry Fee for Local Runners would be HKD 350; for Overseas Runners would be USD 60*.The Organizer reserves the right to close the registration without prior notice.

 *Entry fee will be settled by Hong Kong dollars, the Organiser will use the USD/HKD exchange rate provided by The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited at 16:00, 15 August 2017.

 

-       Create/Join Team

Applicants may form teams of 2 to 8 runners.

 Team Captains are required to enter the team name and set password in order to create the team on the registration platform.

 Team members are required to enter team name and password set by the team captain for joining*.

 *Please be reminded that each team should comprise of either ALL Local or ALL Overseas runners only.

 

-       Team Name

Please be reminded that the Team Name will be used for reference at the registration phase only, which would not be shown in any communications after the completion of the registration.

Each runner will get individual result and their respective individual certificate would only show individual race result. Team names and other team related information would not appear in any result certificates.

 -       Team Management by Team Captains

Team captains may remove members from their teams by submitting a request via email to hkmarathon@hkaaa.com before the registration ends at 7pm on 6 September 2017.  Confirmation of the removal will be sent to both the team captain and concerned members by email.

 

Once the registration period ends at 7pm on 6 September 2017, no other amendment canbe made and places cannot be transferred. 

-       Duplicated Application

Runners may not register via Public Ballot Entry (Team) and Public Ballot Entry (Individual) at the same time.

All duplicated applications or registrations will be rejected or cancelled by the Organizer without giving prior notice.

 -       Ballot Result

Public Ballot Entry (Team) result would be announced via the event website and emails to each Team Captain from 10:00 am (GMT+8), 21 September 2017.

-       Payment Procedure

Team Captains would need to settle the entry fee of the whole team in one go by 23:59 (GMT+8), 27 September 2017.
